FAQ
Clear answers. No fluff. You stay in control.
What is MojoDesk?
MojoDesk is a local-first assistant-in-a-box. We drop a compact Raspberry Pi on your desk, train it on your tone and guardrails, and wire it into the channels where your leads show up (web forms, text, social, phone logs).
From there it handles the grindy parts of running a small shop:
- Speed-to-lead: replies in under a minute with the right scripts, photos, or questions.
- Qualification + routing: gathers the info you need, then escalates at your direction via text, email, or Telegram.
- Scheduling + reminders: books calls, nudges no-shows, and keeps the calendar tidy.
- Content + follow-up: drafts social replies, quotes, and recap emails so you can approve/send in seconds.
- Local brain + security: everything runs on your in-house Pi, so your data never leaves unless you say so.
The best part? You keep the keys. All data lives on your box, you can pause it anytime, and we show you how to tweak the workflows so it always feels like an extension of your crew.
What is MojoTeam?
MojoTeam is the big brother to MojoDesk. Instead of a Pi, we build a custom chassis to your specs (cores, RAM, SSD, network footprint) so multiple people or departments can share one brain.
- Custom hardware + workflows: we map how your team works today and bake those steps into the box.
- Onboard learning brain: every answer, exception, and SOP becomes part of the playbook so the system anticipates what’s next.
- Team-ready handoffs: MojoTeam pushes context back to your humans via the tools they already use (text, email, Slack, CRM) so it feels like an extra teammate, not another platform.
Use MojoTeam when you want the assistant to play nicely with your existing crew, not replace them.
How do I communicate with my MojoDesk or MojoTeam?
The Telegram app is the fastest, most secure way to chat with your assistant. Setup is super easy: we give you a QR or invite link, you tap once, and you’re texting your MojoDesk like it’s another teammate.
We can also wire in email, SMS, or Slack if that’s where your crew lives, and you can always hop into the Claw interface on the Pi itself for setup, deep inspections, or backup access when everything else fails.
Bottom line: you talk to the assistant the same way you talk to your people, and it answers with the context you need.
Who is it for?
Who it’s NOT for: companies that want to “set it and forget it,” hand a black box all their customers, or refuse to give feedback. MojoDesk is collaborative—if you never plan to touch it after day one, it won’t shine.
Who we built it for:
- Small shop (one-person realtor): Maria in Rio Rancho was juggling listings, buyer texts, and last-minute showings. We dropped a MojoDesk on her kitchen counter—now it auto-replies to new Zillow inquiries, sends pre-showing checklists, and pings her on Telegram when someone’s ready to tour. She turned 3 “I saw your sign” leads into closings in 30 days because nothing sat waiting overnight.
- Medium business (five-person pottery studio): Albuquerque Clay Collective sells classes, commissions, and walk-in pieces. MojoTeam handles class waitlists, invoices, and wholesale inquiries. Each artist sees their queue on Slack, while the assistant drafts Instagram responses featuring the right glaze recipe or kiln schedule. They shaved 6 hours of admin per week per artist.
- Larger local org (20-person HVAC company): Desert Air Solutions runs crews across Bernalillo County. Their MojoTeam box sits in dispatch, takes after-hours calls, triages them by urgency, and routes jobs into ServiceTitan. It texts techs their next stop with parts lists, logs the transcript for compliance, and escalates only when a human decision is needed. Their on-call load dropped 40% because the assistant filters out “can this wait till morning?” requests.
If you’re somewhere in that spectrum—busy, service-heavy, and allergic to chaos—you’re our people.
Do I stay in control?
Absolutely. You define the rules, tone, and trigger words. MojoDesk does the routine work, but you can pause, override, or grab the wheel anytime. Real-world guardrails we set up:
- Pricing guardrail: A boutique florist only lets MojoDesk quote standard arrangements. If someone asks for custom pricing, the assistant drafts a reply but parks it for human approval.
- Nightly recap: A mortgage duo gets a 9 p.m. Telegram digest summarizing new leads, what’s waiting, and any “needs human eyes” items so they can clear the deck before bed.
- Escalation keywords: An HVAC crew flagged words like “smoke,” “leak,” or “safety.” When those hit, MojoDesk rings the on-call tech immediately and logs the transcript for insurance.
- Data security: Sensitive attachments never leave the Pi unless you tap “share.” We can require a PIN or biometric check on Telegram before releasing anything private.
It’s your playbook. We just help you automate it safely.
Does my data leave the sandbox?
“Sandbox” just means your own locked-down computer—the Raspberry Pi or custom MojoTeam box sitting in your office. Everything runs there first so it’s not floating around some mystery cloud.
Benefits of keeping it local:
- No third-party AI vendor sees your client lists, pricing, or private messages.
- You can physically unplug it or reboot it if something looks weird.
- Backups are encrypted and stored where you choose (external drive, vault, etc.).
How we hide it from prying eyes:
- Full-disk encryption and auto-lock when idle.
- Unique logins for every human with granular permissions.
- Two-factor prompts (PIN or biometric) before sending anything sensitive off-box.
- Audit logs so you can see who accessed what and when.
- Optional: run a trusted VPN on the box so remote check-ins travel through an encrypted tunnel—even your ISP can’t see what’s happening.
Bottom line: nothing leaves your sandbox unless you tap “yes, send it.”
How do we get started?
Easy: tap the Send enquiry button below. That fires up an email thread with Taylor—our official AI rep (and the very assistant you’ve been chatting with today).
What to expect:
- She’ll ask for the basics (name, email, phone) so a human can reach you if needed—nothing more.
- You can ask specific “can you do this for my business?” questions right in that thread.
- If she doesn’t have an answer or senses you need a human, she hands it off immediately.
From there we book a short call, map your workflow, set guardrails, and build a simple v1. We pilot it together, adjust, and you’re off to the races.
